ProfileIPIS is a Belgian non-profit research institute (vzw, enterprise no. BE 0421.408.778, founded 18 Nov 1980, Antwerp) that the hub's own ontology uses as the exemplar of the `media-and-research-organisation` type. Its DRC conflict-mining and business-and-human-rights research is funded project-by-project — the Kibali gold-mine-concession mapping the hub cites was funded by Belgium's DGD and the Dutch Foreign Ministry.
