Argentine joint-venture company created in 2001 by Hochschild and Minera Andes (today McEwen) to explore and bring the San Jose mine into production. The SPMTP named NO mine for it; San Jose is identified from three independent directions — Hochschild's own pages, McEwen's SEC filings and the LEI record. The mine is silver-dominant by ounces but materially gold-bearing: Hochschild's 2024 production from it was 4,150 koz silver and 73.73 koz gold.
