Described by the seller as a Burkina Faso based consortium led by Elie Ouedraogo, a board member of both Karma and Mana and a prominent Burkinabe business figure, who owns 29% of the share capital of Nere Mining and is chairman of Riverstone Karma, the company that holds the mining licence for the Karma mine. Endeavour closed the sale of its 90% interest on 10 March 2022 for up to $25 million plus a 2.5% NSR royalty. Karma is a low-grade heap leach operation about 185 km north-west of Ouagadougou. Appears in the SPMTP supplier map for Burkina Faso in 2024 only.
