Founded 2012, began underground narrow-vein mining in 2023, in the rural area of Peixoto de Azevedo, MT, 197 km from Sinop. The Paraiba Mine is an underground gold and copper operation, the ore body about 1 km long to 730 m depth, formed by the Brecha and Paraiba parallel quartz veins averaging 0.5 m thickness. The area has a garimpeira history from the 1980s; Cooperxoto, Mato Grosso's first cooperative, was founded there. In 2025 P.A. Gold acquired the mining rights to the Faina project in Goias, including the Sertao Mine. Appears in the SPMTP supplier map for Brazil in 2025 only.
