ProfileDHS chairs the Forced Labor Enforcement Task Force (FLETF), the interagency body that publishes the UFLPA Entity List under the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (Public Law 117-78, 2021). Per DHS's own page, "The DHS FLETF Chair announces new additions to the UFLPA Entity List," which names Xinjiang entities that mine, produce or manufacture goods with forced labour (s.2(d)(2)(B)(i)), or that work with the Xinjiang government to recruit or transfer forced labour (s.2(d)(2)(B)(ii)) — the live list includes gold-sector names such as Shandong Gold Mining Co. and Shandong Gold Smelting Co. Listing triggers a rebuttable presumption under Tariff Act s.307 that goods are barred from US import; it is a customs-enforcement designation, not a judicial finding.
