ProfileThe Direction Générale du Cadastre Minier (DGCM) is Burkina Faso's mining-titles registrar, a directorate of the Ministère de l'Énergie, des Mines et des Carrières. Its own mandate, corroborated verbatim near-identically on both its own site and the ministry's independent structures page, is "la conception, la coordination et l'application de la politique...en matière de gestion des titres miniers et autorisations" — receiving and registering title applications, processing decrees, collecting surface fees, controlling boundary demarcation, archiving and publishing granted titles. It operates the e-Cadastre Minier portal of valid titles. It is distinct from BUMIGEB (Bureau des Mines et de la Géologie du Burkina), a separate geological-survey body listed as a DGCM "partenaire," not the same organisation.Single source
