ProfileSolidaridad began in 1969 as a Catholic-bishops' Advent-campaign development-aid effort in the Netherlands, became an interdenominational (Catholic+Protestant) foundation in 1976, and transitioned in 2010 into today's decentralised network structure — the Solidaridad Network Foundation, formally founded 2011, registered in Utrecht, governed by a network-wide board of directors across seven regional expertise centres. Its gold work spans formalisation support, RECLAIM Sustainability! (Peru, 400+ women miners), an anti-child-labour programme in Uganda, and CRAFT Code training — note CRAFT itself is administered by the Alliance for Responsible Mining and RESOLVE, not Solidaridad, so the correct relationship is participation in the scheme, not administration of it.Single source
